Intel is an American technology company headquartered in Santa Clara, California is famous for its processors is now in news. During Computex conference 2017 in taipei, Intel unveiled its X-Series 18 core PCs. Along with introduction of X-Series PCs Intel announced to produce credit card sized Laptops. Intel has named it Compute Card. Intel announced that Compute Card will be introduced by August 2017 which will be credit card or ATM card sized.
Compute Card's performance will be not less than any desktop PC. It will be 95 mm long, 55 mm wide and 5 mm thick. It will have 4 GB Ram and 128GB hard drive storage, which is equivalent or greater than any smartphone storage. But the good thing is Compute Card speed will be far better than smartphone. Intel will introduce four variants of Compute Card which will be of same size but will only differ in performance.
For connectivity Compute Card will have bluetooth and Wifi. According to Intel this laptop will be especially beneficial for professionals, engineers and expert personals. They would be able to access their computing on the go within their pocket.
Intel would be producing Compute Card along with its associates Lenovo, HP and Dell. Conference will last till 3rd of June 2017.
