| Wi-tribe To Offer 4G Services |
Right now in Pakistan there are very few operators who provide 4G data services. Amongst those companies we have Zong, Telenor and (Mobilink-Warid). Only Zong and Telenor have purchased 4G spectrum. Soon Government of Pakistan is planning to offer 4G Spectrum. This will witness new companies and new opportunities. A moment of surprise, it has came to our knowledge that Wi-tribe will be amongst those companies who will have 4G spectrum.
Wi-tribe will offer it's 4G services to its customers not before June 2017. Wi-tribe will offer these services in five cities of Pakistan. Customers from Islamabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and Karachi will enjoy 4G data services. Wi-tribe start providing its services from its head office in Islamabad, later services will be expanded to other cities.
According to reports Wi-tribe has signed 15 million dollar partnership agreement with Chinese company Huawei. Huawei will provide hardware support to wi-tribe.
Fornow, what packages its customers will be offered are yet to be disclosed. But what we can estimate that wi-tribe will offer much better packages than existing 4G giants. We know, once wi-tribe was declared best broadband provider company by PTA, but since 4G spectrum was bought by Zong and telenor it was hard for wi-tribe to retain its customers, and in fact it did hut wi-tribe.
Let's hope, wi-tribe will compete 4G giants and offer best services.
