Proud Pakistani Invents "Pain Free Invisible Needles"

Mir Ibrahim Sajid, a proud Pakistani, hailing from Punjab Pakistan has invented Pain Free Invisible Needles. Mir Ibrahim Sajid is medical student of the Aga Khan University (AKU). He is Founder & CEO of PFIN.

Mir Ibrahim Sajid is the eldest of the three sons to a gastroenterologist physician and a maxillofacial surgeon.

A large part of my summer vacations and leisure time was spent in hospitals. Having seen children in pain and refusing treatment, all while living through the above myself, during cannulation and blood drawing procedures, I took it upon myself to find a solution to trypanophobia. said Mir Ibrahim Sajid

In AKU under guidance of Asad I. Mian, who led the Creative Critical Innovative Thinking (CCIT), he invented the first prototype of the proposed model.

Mir Ibrahim Sajid recently won the Global Pediatric Research Investigator Award by the Nature Pediatric Research for his invention. By achieving this he became the first Pakistani medical student to receive such award.

His invention is currently awaiting clinical trials but it has successfully passed the laboratory tests.
