Google Play’s Top 5

Google a search engine giant owns Google Play. Google Play is a digital media distribution store. Google Play serves as the official app store for the Android operating system, allowing users to browse and download applications. It was initially released on October 22, 2008 and was called “Android Market ”, later on March 6, 2012 it was named “Google Play”.

On March 6, 2012 Google Play released top 5 listing of their offered apps. Candy Crush Saga topped the games category, Facebook App was the topper of Apps category, Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud topped Songs category, Adele - 25 was topper of Albums category, The Interview topped Film category and Fifty Shades of Grey, by E L James secured first position in Books category.
